Meet the Krause Family

Ken and Penny Krause and Family Ken and Penny Krause were married on December 14, 1991. Both were Christians who had begun to grow in their personal walks with God through Bible studies and church fellowship.

Especially after the birth of their daughter Kimberly in 1993, Penny and Ken faced challenges over disagreements and unmet expectations. Throughout the struggles with one another, they did not turn their backs on God, but sought after His involvement in their lives. Each area they surrendered to God set the stage for a new miracle. He faithfully took what they offered to Him and began to bring healing to their relationship.

They became troubled at the lack of growing faith in the young people they knew, and they sought God’s direction for their family. In the winter of 2003, while attending a home education retreat at the Riverfront Character Inn in Flint, Michigan, Ken and Penny were thrilled to meet college-aged students who really loved God. They learned more about the IBLP ministry, attended a Basic Seminar, and enrolled in the ATI program.

Ken and Penny attest to the power of God’s grace at work in their lives. They continue to grow in their knowledge of God as He works through areas of their lives and transforms their weaknesses and hurts by the power of His truth and love. They see that there is no broken life that God cannot restore!
